Oil Painting 101
Intrigued with the arts and creative expression? Join us as alum artist Erin McGee Ferrell '94 guides us in an introduction to oil painting. Learn some foundational tools and techniques to try your hand at this centuries-old artform. You may wish to have note-taking materials available, but no other supplies are needed for this session.

This event will be recorded. This event is being conducted over Zoom. As the host, Mount Holyoke College reserves the right to record this session and the event sponsors will give prior notification to event participants of any intention to do so. This event will include an oral and visual presentation about oil painting, including Question and Answer time with the event presenter. The presentation will also likely include a video and poll questions. Erin McGee Ferrell '94
Erin McGee Ferrell is a professional artist and art educator, currently teaching at the University of New England in Maine. She creates large contemporary oil paintings for private and corporate environments. Ferrell graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a major in Fine Arts and then completed a second degree at the University of the Arts Philadelphia. A patient advocate and researcher for breast cancer education, Ferrell is the creator of PirateCrewPaperDolls.com.
